What brings me the most peace is knowing myself.
Finding myself and knowing who that person is, without any outside voices. My peace comes from a deep understanding of other people not defining me. I cut off my own parents for not seeing me how I see myself. Getting rid of ANYONE who doesn’t see me fully. It’s been extremely empowering to choose my circle in such a way. With this, another facet is believing in myself rather than god. Religion is just used to control people and I’ve taken that control back for myself. Reincarnation makes way more sense scientifically anyways.
