If I knew I couldn’t fail, I would change the philosophy of humanity so that everybody believed in themselves. It’s a deep systemic problem, at least in America. There are countries that are worse and there are countries that are better, arguably. What I see the problem being, aside from power/class struggles, is god. People believing in god because they do not believe in themselves.
Stick with me here, I know this is off putting to hear if you are someone who believes. I used to believe too, I was raised in a christian household. With that being said, I was able to poke a lot of holes in the theory of god… as a child.
I have some questions for people who believe. When you prey, does god talk back to you? Because I begged god so many times to speak to me and all I ever heard back was my own consciousness. What happened to all the people who died, before “jesus died for our sins on the cross” ? Because nobody in the church was ever able to actually answer this. Last question, sort of. How do you know know? Were you there? Did you see it for yourself? Just because some guy wrote something hundreds of years ago doesn’t mean anything. It doesn’t.
There is much more to say on the matter. I just wish people could feel how I do, understanding my true place on this earth. Christians get close to understanding what I believe is the “truth.” We do all come from the same thing, I would call it a light, not god. We all have that light in us. Matter can not be created or destroyed. Perhaps we reincarnate until we get it “right.” When all of humanity gets it right. We live in extremely curious times of people turning to god and people turning away. It feels as though a greater truth is on the horizon.
